The Grande Prairie Highland Games Association’s goal is to keep the Scottish culture alive and well in the Grande Prairie area. This annual event features Scottish Athletics such as Throwing the Hammer, Tossing the Caber, Putting the Stone, Throwing the Stone, Throwing the Weight over the Bar and the Haggis Hurl; Highland Dancing and Sheepdog Competition Trials.
The Ceilidh kicks off on June 10, 2006 at the Army & Navy Club (10117 93 St.) with dinner at 6:00 p.m.
